this wine has been produced in accordance with international Fairtrade Standards

. Koopmanskloof, Dutch for Trader’s Ravine, was historically one of the few areas

where European settlers to the Western Cape met fair and friendly traders among

the indigenous people. Set in the Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch, the vineyards of

Koopmanskloof have a long and distinguished tradition of excellent wine production.

Chenin Blanc, known as Steen in South Africa is the most important white grape varietal

in the Cape. The green apple aromas are supplemented by underlying nuances of honey

and peaches

Cantina Tollo, Abruzzi, Italy Pale straw colour with water like hue. Subtle aromas of pear

and apple with just a hint of citrus. The palate displays good mouthfeel and texture with

flavours of ripe pear, apple and mineral. Clean dry finish with pear, spice and mineral

style which surprises with a soft palate of sweet berry fruits and hints of bitter chocolate

and roasted coffee beans with fine tannins and a pleasant finish.
